The Anthem

In the novel The Anthem, by Ayn Rand, there is a man vs. man conflict. Rand is describing a world where the government has changed how people live and everything will be equal and exactly the same. The main character has noticed how crazy his environment is and does not like it at all. He starts to think about what would happen if everyone was to rebel. This is man vs. man conflict because the government is against all the other citizens doing anything that would resemble them having their own personality. They all have to be exaclty alike.
